Tuesday: 13-Hours to Remember

After our COVID test and breakfast Tuesday morning, we had a few hours to enjoy Florida's 80 degree weather before heading to the airport.

Viking Cruises had arranged our transportation between Miami and Ushuaia, Argentina to minimize the possibility of contracting COVID along the way.  We only knew it was to be a charter flight. The plane rolled up to the gate.  It was a Boeing 777 which normally carries 380 passenger, but there were only 72 of us!

Once inside the plane we realized this was going to be a very special flight.  It was outfitted with only 88 business class seats.

Each seat folded horizontally to form a cozy bed!  And there was a 24" screen that provided endless choices in entertainment.

And when we were tired of watching movies, there was a full complementary bar available.  The dinner and breakfast was first class (no pun intended) also.  If you need to spend 13 hours on an airplane, this is the way to do it!

  1. Wow..great for both of you. Sounds better than my flight back from New Orleans where I had to sit in the middle seat between 2 big guys.
